We are introducing the logistics tax according to Law No. 239/2025

We hereby inform you that, following the promulgation of Law No. 239/2025, an additional logistics fee applies to our orders starting January 1, 2026. This change affects all logistics operators in Romania, and we are obliged to pass on this cost to them.

According to the new legislation, a fee of 25 lei will be automatically applied for each parcel sent to and from Romania that cumulatively meets all the conditions below :


Criterion Details
🌍 Origin of the parcel Starts being delivered from a country inside and/or outside the European Union 
💰 Declared value It is under 150 euros in customs documents .
📄 Type of customs procedure It is subject to a simplified customs declaration (type H7) .
📍 Final destination It is intended for a final recipient in Romania .

Example : If you order a selenite crystal directly from a workshop outside or inside the EU or a set of tarot cards from an international platform that ships from external warehouses, and the order value is below €150, that package will be charged.

⚙️ How is the tax applied in Tiamat.ro ?

For deliveries through our logistics partners : The 25 lei fee will be automatically added to the total cost of the order for all eligible packages. This is a separate fee, administered by couriers (such as Sameday or Poșta Română) and transferred to the state .

On our local products and services : The tax does NOT apply to orders that contain spiritual services.

Can I avoid this fee?
No, unfortunately the legal provisions in force oblige us to collect it .

Who determines and receives this 25 lei?
The tax is established by Romanian state law, more precisely Law no. 239/2025 . We and our logistics partners only collect it and transfer it to the tax authorities, without obtaining a profit from it. .

What happens to orders placed in 2025 but delivered in 2026?
According to information received from logistics operators, the tax applies if the package physically enters Romania after January 1, 2026 , regardless of the date the order was placed.
