Why Tiamat? Who is Tiamat?

Tiamat is the beginning and end of all earthly things. She is the material from which, according to the Babylonians with their Enuma Elis, Marduk created heaven and earth. It thus represents human essence in its fullness, with the mundane and the abstract of our being. She is " Uma Hubur ", Mother, Womb, the matter from which everything that exists and surrounds us is made. It is the substrate from which we are plastered, the fertile soil from which the Creator brought us into existence.

Thus, our journey began long ago, and it was only natural to join those who celebrate the human experience of our souls at this time and in this hour. Beside us there are magical creatures that accompany us on our journey and that we invite you to discover with us, month by month.

Our offering to Tiamat is the pike of an earthly life full of emotion, of feelings and experiences that can do nothing but fulfill our being and creature molded with such care from such a precious material!

History of Tiamat.ro

In 2017, the founder of THE NEW PAGAN DAWN Association through Emrys LeFay and Ionuț Gabriel applied in the context of the Youth Capital, the title being held in 2017 by Bacău.

The Youth Capital of Romania is a program that aims to develop youth ecosystems and actively involve young people in the community, where the two won the special award for entrepreneurship, awarded by the European Center for Sustainable Strategies.

The European Center for Sustainable Strategies is an association established under GO 26/2000 in 2014, with the purpose assumed in the Statute: "Developing sustainable strategies that create and ensure balance between social, cultural, economic and ecological aspects and elements of natural capital, and promoting strategic thinking among young people as a guarantee of future sustainable development."

On November 29, 2017, the PENTAMALL (currently TIAMAT) project appeared with the aim of "providing a source for procuring the material base necessary for practicing a form of alternative religion in Romania" as quoted in the press of the time, Ziarul Dețteptarea.

Between 2017 and 2022, together with Barcan Dănuț and Răzvan Panaite, we developed the product catalog and range of services offered by Tiamat.ro, allowing us to innovate and test product and service ideas, initially personalizing various t-shirts with pagan and occult symbols or creations, or marketing our first books: Introduction to Tarology .

In 2023, we joined Shopify stores and on the recommendation of Teodora Paul, second vice president of THE NEW PAGAN DAWN Association, we "rebranded" the old PENTAMALL into TIAMAT.RO. A

Also in 2023, we improved our product and service portfolio, collaborating with DACOS JEVERLY, and other pagan entrepreneurs. We expanded our products to personalized candles, crystals, books, statuettes, earrings, tarot decks, but also services such as divination in tea, tarot, coffee, astrogram or even the creation of personalized seals. At the same time, we are the only store that sells and produces, thanks to the support of Cosmogonica Publishing House, the books in the Franz Bardon series, extremely sought after by those who adopt the path of Hermeticism in Romania or who want to develop their spiritual abilities.

In 2024, the Tiamat.ro store also began publishing works of pagan history and sociology, such as Religious Beliefs in the Romanian Space or The Pagan Holocaust in Romania , but also thanks to the collaboration with the ROPAGANISM EDITORIAL, it began publishing the first pagan magazine – Moonlight Grove – after 10 years.
